When the application loads for the first time, it will prompt you to use a password. If you choose yes, you will be asked to create a 5-15 character password and verify it. If you choose not to set one at this time, you can go to the settings tab at any point in the future and turn password protection on by flipping the switch to 'ON' and entering and confirming a password. Likewise, at any point you can return to settings and flip the switch to 'OFF' to stop using a password. You will have to verify your password in order to turn off password protection.

2. How and why do I register my account?
When the application loads for the first time, it will prompt you and tell you to register. Registering is necessary in order to share pictures. If you choose not to send and receive pictures, you do not need to register. However, if you use password protection and forget your password, we can only email you the reset password if you registered with a valid email address.

Registering is done by going to the settings tab and clicking on 'Register Account'.

You will be asked for a username, password, and email address. If the username is already in use or contains illegal or an incorrect amount of characters, you will be asked to choose another name. You can unregister at any time as well. See 9. How do I change my username? below.

3. Why do I have to give a username, email and password to register?
As stated above, the only way we can send a reset password if you lock yourself out of the app is by having a valid email on file. Also, if you choose to use email notifications, See #7 below, we will need your email. A username is necessary so that friends can find you and send you pictures. Also, when you send a picture, your username is sent to the recipient so they know who sent them the picture. The password is in case there is any doubt that you are you when contacting us about your account.

4. How do I change my password?
The password that you use when you register your account is for your account and can not be changed. The password for protecting access to your application can easily be changed. Obviously, password protection would need to be on, See #1 above. If it is turned on, then a 'Change Password' button will be visible on the settings tab. Simply click the button and verify your old password, create and confirm your new password and you are on your way.

5. What if I forget my password?
As long as you are a registered user, you can easily get back into your app if you forget your password. All you need to do is press the 'Forgot Password' button at the login screen and a special reset password will be sent to your email. A confirmation will appear below the button when the reset password is sent, displaying the address on file that the reset password was sent to.

Once you receive that password and enter it at the login screen it will let you in and turn password protection off. You will then need to go to the settings tab and turn password protection on, See #6 below, if you want to use a password again. If you do not have access to that email anymore, contact us via the contact email in the left menu and we will verify your account info with you and try to resolve it that way.
